Greek Specials/Discounts, here are some of the week's highlights:
  • On Friday, March 28, Ikaros Restaurant will have a discussion on "The Ikarian Diet" at 6:30 P.M. Enjoy healthy Greek food and learn about the theory why the island of Ikaria is known for extraordinary good health and longevity compared to other parts of the world. Ikaria is commonly referred to as "the place where people forget to die?" There will be live music and a discussion about the bouzouki, a Greek musical instrument. There will be a wine tasting and olive oil tasting. $25 per person includes the event and a sample of items consisting of what is known as "The Ikarian Diet."   • The Hazelwood Inn is hosting, ALL WEEK: Free Movie Showings of Greek American Movies like Zorba the Greek, 300, Troy, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Never on Sunday; Specials include Ouzo Lemonade Cocktails, and Flaming Cheese (Saganaki).
  • The Kentrikon is the 1st Greek Establishment opening in 1954 and is a Historic Landmark – up to 10% discounts on select items, come purchase The Greek Evil Eye, Airline Tickets to Greece, Jewelry, icons, Greek Artwork and Photography: Marc Tsakiris & Michael Stavrinos, sold exclusively here.
